THIS IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS

Wine encounters, up close and personal

At Partout, wine is and has always been a communal experience. A Yiddish proverb states, "Over a bottle of wine, many a friend is found," and we couldn't agree more. Wine brings people together, and we love that.

Our mission is to help you slow down, attune your senses, taste wines, and then talk about them in the company of friends. We offer a shared experience where everyone may reflect and enjoy and are encouraged to express their delight or displeasure in a relaxed, intentionally non-intimidating setting. An opportunity to savor and ponder the sensations as you indulge in one of life's simple pleasures awaits you. Free your palate and travel to a place of wonder—host one of our Tasting or Pairing Experiences and see for yourself.

All interactive guided wine tastings and pairings include the wines, use of Riedel wine glasses, and an enjoyable, approachable experience for all—whether new to wine, a collector, or somewhere in between. Pairings include everything necessary to serve you and your guests.

Curated Wine Experiences

Curated Wine Tasting

Our curated tastings are a great way to experience new wines based on your preferences. We work with you to determine what types of wine are best for your event depending on what you like, the time of year, the reason for the event, the attendees, etc. Once we have determined the wine styles, we work with our local retailer partners to find the five best wines for your experience.

Elevated Tasting Experience

This experience includes everything in the Curated Wine Tasting, plus food pairings. In addition to curating the wines, we will design a selection of heavy hors d'oeuvres for your event. to highlight how wine and food combine to create a unique "third" experience. Because we start with the wine, our pairings showcase how food changes wine, and the other way round.

In addition to sharing the wine's stories, we'll explain each pairing and why we chose it. We'll let you in on our pairing technique and how to use it to plan your meals both at home and while dining out.

Ready Made Experiences

Old World vs. New World

Common Questions

  • What is included in a Partout Tasting or Pairing event?

All interactive guided wine tastings and pairings include the wines, use of Riedel wine glasses, and an enjoyable, approachable experience for all—whether new to wine, a collector, or somewhere in between. Pairings include everything necessary to serve you and your guests.

  • I want to host a pairing experience, do you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes we do! We are able to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions. Just let us know any restrictions at least three days prior to your event.

  • What will I need to do to set up for the event?

You’ll need enough space to host your guests. We recommend that water is available for you and your guests throughout the event.

  • I see that your Ready Made Experiences are for up to eight people. What if I have more than 8?

Additional guest may be added to a wine tasting for $25 per person, and a pairing experience for $50 per person. Guest counts above 10 will require $200 in addition to the per person cost in order to expand the experience.

  • Some of my party do not drink wine, will I still be charged for them?

The cost is per person drinking wine in a wine experience. We don’t charge for anyone who chooses to come and not drink, but there will only be enough wine provided for the number of attendees choosing to participate in the wine tasting. If you are doing a paired experience and want them included in the hors d'oeuvres, the cost would be $25 per non-drinking guest.

  • How long can my Experience last?

Our Tasting and Pairing experiences typically last around one and a half to two hours. Please arrange to have your guests arrive on time, and feel free to keep the party going after the tasting!

  • How do people normally pay for parties?

A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. After scheduling the experience, some hosts choose to pay for the party themselves, while others split the costs among their guests using Venmo, cash, etc.

  • What is your cancellation policy

All experiences require a 50% deposit upon booking. There is a fifty dollar ($50) fee for an Event cancelled at least seven (7) days in advance. Cancellations made within 3-7 days of the Event will forfeit the initial retainer. Final payment is due 72 hours before the event and cancellation within 72 hours is non-refundable.

  • Should I tip my wine curator?

The decision to pay a gratuity to the wine curator is at the discretion of the guests and the host of the party. Tips are never expected but always appreciated.

  • Do you sell wine? Can my guests purchase the wines we like?

We do not sell wine. However, we work closely with our local retailers and will have order forms available. Your guests can create an order which we will give to the retailer who will make arrangements with your guests for pick up or delivery of wines. Your guests may take advantage of special discounts provided by our retail partners.
